Charles Seuntjens is a Shareholder for the Pemberton Law Firm and works out of its Detroit Lakes office. As a member of Pemberton’s Estate Planning and Corporate Law Groups, Charles’ practice focuses on estate planning, oil and gas, guardianship/​conservatorship, business succession and transition, corporate formation and compliance, and trust and probate administration. Charles frequently provides seminars and training on estate planning and corporate formation and compliance throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, and his clients include farm families, small and large business owners and corporations, mineral owners, and executives throughout the region.
Charles grew up on a family farm near Danbury, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, and received his Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul. Charles has been recognized as one of Minnesota’s Top Lawyers in Estate Planning, a North Star Lawyer, an Emerging Young Leader, and a Rising Star in the State of Minnesota.
Charles enjoys being active in the community and he has served on many boards for local and regional foundations and non-profits, including Project 412, Kiwanis, the Knights of Columbus, Essentia Health, the Detroit Lakes Area College Foundation, the North Dakota State College of Science, and the Boys and Girls Club. In his free time, Charles enjoys coaching and spending time with his children (Isabella and Grayson), and their German Shephard (Zoey).
